...Christmas Comes But Once Each Year...
Christmas comes but once a year
And though it last but a single day;
When we give with open hearts
That Christmas feeling never goes away.
So in this special season
When love and joy abounds;
Remember that the Christ-child
From Heaven did come down;
He stepped down from His Kingly throne
And in a manger He was laid;
So that on a cross at Calvary
He'd take my place one day...
To give His life a ransom;
To save us from our sins.
For we shall live forever,
If Jesus lives within.
